Choices: What and who do you prioritise? (Clue: Hopefully, it's the person reading this.)
Hello you
Today is my birthday, and my gift to myself is to keep choosing me. I’m excited to continue making choices that align with my values and goals for the future.
Can you say the same?
The choices you make today will shape your tomorrow. So, ask yourself:
- Will you prioritise your wellness over convenience?
- Will you invest in your growth over instant gratification?
- Will you choose self-love over self-doubt?
- Will you spend 10 minutes meditating instead of scrolling through social media?
- Will you swap one sugary drink for a glass of water?
- Will you take a 15-minute walk to clear your mind instead of binge-watching another episode?
- Will you read a chapter of a book instead of getting lost in online shopping?
- Will you journal your thoughts and feelings instead of bottling them up or becoming angry?
- Will you reach out to a friend for support and connection instead of trying to handle everything on your own?
We don’t need to be perfect to start making changes. The real magic happens when we take action.
It’s all about perspective and where you decide to invest your time. Every small choice you make now shapes your future. Where do you want to be one month, one year or even five years from now?
Begin. If you’ve not started, it’s time. It’s time to begin. It’s time to take charge of your life and make the choices that are right for you. And create the you’ve been dreaming about, and that you deserve.
(If you’ve already started, I’m proud of you. Now, what choice can you make to make sure you keep going?)
Reflections from the Stress Less. Live More! workshop
Last Friday, I had the privilege of hosting a wonderful group of women for the Stress Less. Live More! workshop.
It was incredible to witness the power of women coming together to create space, support themselves, and each other. The energy in the room was truly inspiring, and it reinforced the importance of choosing ourselves and prioritizing our well-being.
My recommendations for March
- 📝 Journal prompt: Reflect on the choices you’ve made in the past week. Which ones align with your values and goals? Which ones don’t? How can you make small changes to prioritise yourself and your well-being?
- 🧘Meditation moment: Embrace imperfection. Take a few moments to sit in a quiet space. Close your eyes and take deep breaths. As you breathe in, imagine yourself embracing your imperfections and letting go of self-doubt. As you exhale, feel a sense of peace and acceptance wash over you. Repeat this for a few minutes, focusing on the power of choosing yourself. I Choose is a lovely and free guided meditation on the Insight Timer app by Estelle Godsman.
- 📚Book recommendation: Let Them by Mel Robbins. I’m reading “Let Them” by Mel Robbins just now, and I highly recommend it. The book is a fantastic guide to letting go of what doesn’t serve you and embracing the freedom to be yourself. It’s a perfect companion on your journey to choosing you.

What’s next?
I’m planning another workshop and would love your input. What topics interest you the most? Would you prefer another workshop related to stress management or something different? And would you prefer an in-person event or an online session? Let me know. Your feedback will help shape future events.
And finally…
